Overview

Live knowledge turns your website into a self-updating brain for your Echo. Instead of importing content once and watching it go stale, Echo keeps a live subscription to the site: it maps the pages, fingerprints their content, and only re-embeds what actually changed. New pages are added automatically, removed pages are cleaned up, and updated pages are refreshed without you lifting a finger. Path rules and page caps keep the crawl focused and affordable, while plan-based frequency controls how often it checks. If a crawl is blocked, the domain becomes unreachable, you hit a cap, or your credits run low, Echo tells you clearly so the problem never stays hidden. The synced pages become normal knowledge base documents, so every reply is still grounded, cited, and ready for retrieval.

Frequently asked questions

How often does Echo sync a live website?

Frequency is plan-gated. Free and Starter plans can sync manually. Pro plans can sync weekly, Business plans daily, and Enterprise plans can sync daily or more.

Will it re-scrape every page every time?

No. Echo fingerprints content and checks HTTP validators first. Unchanged pages are skipped entirely, so steady-state syncs are cheap.

Can I limit how many pages it imports?

Yes. You can set a page cap per source and include or exclude specific paths.

What if my site is rendered with JavaScript?

Echo harvests links from rendered pages during the scrape, so client-rendered sites and SPAs are discovered properly.
