What Are Credits?
Credits are the currency you use to power your Echo AI assistants. Every interaction your Echo has—whether it's answering questions, generating speech, or processing voice—uses a small amount of credits.
How to Get Credits
Monthly Plan Credits
Your subscription plan includes a monthly credit allowance. Unused credits on paid plans roll over to the next billing cycle:

Credit Packs
Need more credits? Purchase credit packs anytime from the Subscription page. Packs range from 50 to 1,000 credits.
Credit Rollover
On paid plans (Pro, Business, Enterprise), unused credits roll over to the next billing cycle. Your balance at renewal is calculated as: remaining credits + new monthly allocation.
Free plan credits reset to 30 each month and do not roll over.

With 400 credits (Pro base tier), you could:
Send approximately 8,000-40,000 chat messages, OR
Convert about 266,000 characters to speech, OR
Transcribe about 666 minutes of voice messages
With 2,000 credits (higher tier), you could:
Send approximately 40,000-200,000 chat messages, OR
Convert about 1,330,000 characters to speech, OR
Transcribe about 3,333 minutes of voice messages
Upgrades & Downgrades
Upgrading mid-cycle — You pay the pro-rated difference immediately. Your billing date stays the same, and you receive the extra credits right away.
Downgrading mid-cycle — The lower credit limit takes effect at your next billing cycle. You keep your current credits until then.
Tips to Maximize Your Credits
Keep responses concise – Shorter responses use fewer credits
Use text chat when possible – Voice features use more credits than text
Monitor your usage – Check your credit balance in Admin → Subscription & Credits
Upgrade strategically – Higher tiers offer better value per credit
